The Retreat at Quarters Lake creates a sanctuary in the heart of Baton Rouge, providing children, teens, and adults a tranquil environment to navigate the complexities of grief and loss. The long term site vision plan builds on the nearly complete network of existing buildings and provides alternative therapies such as play therapy, sports therapy art therapy, pet therapy, cooking therapy, EMDR sensory garden, sensory pathways, vagal resonance wall, and more. Other features include a large focal fountain feature, terraced seating/ stage, fishing dock, meadows, basketball/pickleball court and more.
